Pit bulls say much more about the personality of the owners than they do the dog

I am elegantly curious as to the size and nature of these carts pulled by these 24-inch tall canines and as they protected the livestock, what protected the livestock from the pit bulls?

OK, here is just for instance.....the following breed of dog can be anywhere from 22'' to 27'' depending on their sex. They are a working breed and multi-purpose animal and even though the standard calls for them to be even under the 24'' you refer to, they cart....so why couldn't a dog with the strength and stamina of our beloved pittie(as you called it)have a probl;em with carting when they are often involved in the sport of weight pulls?

Technically a "medium / large" breed, according to the FCI standard the Rottweiler stands 61 to 69 cm (24"-27") at the withers for males, 56 to 63 cm (22"-25") for females, and the weight must be between 50 to 60 kg (110–132 lbs) for males and between 35–48 kg (77–105 lbs) for females. Weight must be relative to height

No, I only spent a few years training them and teaching their owners how to train them. You want to show you know what you are doing, handle a dog that's bonded to another person. You are just a back yard puppy mill

They are referred to as bully breeds, molossers, mastiffs....

Pit bulls were never used as ratters. They are too big to get into the spaces they would need to get in. You haven't researched to find out if they were used on farms. You've only taken the uneducated word of some other pit fool and accepted it because you liked what it said

well please tell us what you know. I mean you know everything about everything but in my experience more like nothing about anything. I'll bet a dollar to a doughnut hole you've never owned a bully breed in your whole **** existence.....

About the only half legitimate purpose that this propaganda site could come up with in defense of pit bulls was that when immigrants arrived in America, they did find their pit bulls useful as catch dogs for hog hunting. Now, being that I doubt someone knows what a catch dog is, let me explain. Wild hogs are extremely vicious and dangerous. Hunters would use regular hunting breeds to track and run hogs. When a hog was too tired to run any more, or trapped somewhere, they would turn loose the catch dog to go in and take down the hog before it hurt the valuable dogs. They fought the hogs.

This is from a pro pit bull website called badrap.org

Created in the UK A dog (Olde English Bulldog) that looked much like today's pit bull was originally used in the 1800's in the British Isles to 'bait' bulls. These matches were held for the entertainment of the struggling classes; a source of relief from the tedium of hardship. In 1835 bull baiting was deemed inhumane and became illegal, and dog fighting became a popular replacement. Soon, a new bulldog was created by crossing the Olde English Bulldog with terriers to create smaller, more agile dogs. The best fighters were celebrated and held up as heroes for their courage and fortitude during battle. At the same time, bite inhibition towards humans was encouraged through selective breeding so gamblers could handle their dogs during staged fights. Partially because of these early breeding efforts which frowned on "man biters," pit bulls gained a reputation for their trustworthy nature with humans. - See more at: http://www.badrap.org/breed...fJ5X1.dpuf

You are correct fins, what amazes me is how some people will put those dangerous animal's above human life.

And, as I said before, it doesn't matter what kind of dog is in a TV show. That doesn't change the fact that science has proven them to be more dangerous than other breeds. On Miami Vice, Crockett had a pet alligator. That doesn't mean people need to actually have one in real life.

What inaccurate propaganda site do you get your information from that tries to tell you that a Stafordshire Terrier and a Pit Bull Terrier are the same thing?
