A man accused of shooting a Charlotte mother as she was protecting her 6-month-old baby was able to bond out of jail after four days.
Curtis Garyray Kerr, 36, faces several charges, including attempted murder.
The woman who was shot has been in and out of surgery for the past 18 days. She lost a kidney and her spleen, suffered a collapsed lung and needed repair on her shoulder and femur.
