Check out simplisafe.com. It runs on a cellular signal. Sound good for what you need.

I bought a Q See system from Costco. 16 channel DVR and eight cameras. Have added three more cameras. Can monitor it from my cell phone if needed.

Anyone recommend a good camera system for a large outbuilding. It's not near my house, but has power, no other utilities.
