I got it going on the laptop but now cannot get it to go at all into the desktop. When it says the computer needs to shut down and restart then it clears itself. Geesh.

Actually - it is better than Norton/Symantec for actually doing what it is supposed to do, but I do have other beefs with Symantec...
After it finished its badly timed scan/update cycle, it actually runs pretty well. I'm just not happy with the forced after-install process.

It just got thru running a full scan and finished the update so now it is showing to be good. Thanks, I just got it at Sams and the man down there said it was better than Norton which I have been using. I hope I have not made a mistake by switching.

I installed it on my laptop a month or so ago - it took several days for the system to stabilize after. Worst AV ever, it should NOT FORCE you to do an initial update at the same time it FORCES you to do an initial full scan - only to have it stop half way through to apply the updates, to start over again...grrr...

I have just installed Kaspersky anti-virus on my laptop and get a warning that my "databases are obsolete" what does this mean and how do you correct it?
