1047, don't be ridiculous. You should be protesting violations of the Ten Commandments instead of worrying about an obscure passage in the Old Testament. There's nothing wicked about being gay... if it was, God wouldn't have made gay people.
But I do have to question why nc268 seems so angry all the time, if he's so happy. That's my point: these parades seem a lot less about pride, and a lot more about negative attention.

Actor Haaz Sleiman opened up about his sexuality in an emotional video this week as part of a personal effort to combat violence against the LGBTQ community. The 41-year-old “Nurse Jackie” star announced that he was “a gay, Muslim, Arab American man” in the clip, which can be viewed below. But Sleiman, who was born and raised in Lebanon, didn’t stop there. “Not only am I gay, but I’m also a bottom,” he added in the video, which was posted to his social media accounts Aug. 22. “Not only am I a bottom, but I’m also a total bottom, which means I like it up you know where.”

Good for you, but that has nothing to do with the point I'm making. By advertising a Gay Pride Parade, you're encouraging protesters to come out.
And look at how you respond to this thread. You don't seem all that proud, you seem angry.
You can have just as much fun at a gay bar or at a gay party, so that's not the purpose of the parade. It really feels like you just want the fight.

I think you can see from this thread, though, that that's not really true. You're promoting a parade, you know that you're going to have antagonists come out to protest. So you're really encouraging the drama and bull.
I have no problem with h*mosexuality, don't get me wrong. But these parades feel more like you're trying to keep a problem going that doesn't need to exist.

To all the pretend "I'm better than you " Christians who are jealous they don't have a bible pride festival to go to. Perhaps you could have your own... gouge out your eyes if you stumble event. Where are all the stoning and torturing pride events when you need them? Why support love when you've got biblical references to reenact like insist and rape. Bummed they can no longer be part of the stoning's, murders, burnings and slavery examples from their "good book". So they are left with only chauvinism, bigotry and h*mophobia to show themselves as such good moral role models. All the while pretending they are being religiously persecuted so as to cut into anyone who is different than they are. Funny how no one ever mentions their own flaws. Of course if you didn't send so much time hating and pretending your better than everyone else, you could work on some self improvements. Oh that's right I forget..... your already perfect. But you have a right to believe whatever you want.
