Trump vanity parade comes with hefty price tag

Vanity for one man who needs his ego stroked. Pride for the men and women who fought and some lost their lives'. Most know someone who fought, in their own family. Let me make this clear, THIS PARADE IS FOR ONE MAN, A WANT TO BE KING, A DICTATOR, A CULT LEADER. This man alone will make our PRICES HIGHER. Cost of living will go sky-high during the cult leadership. TARIFFS ARE TAXES, AND THE WORKING CLASS WILL PAY THE PRICE.

I don't know anyone that does not respect our military Personnel. I do know of a few people (I'm reluctant to admit) that claim criticism of inappropriate use of our troops for political purposes is disrespect of our military. But then those same people approve of the C in C ("suckers and losers") being a draft dodger. Hail to the chief Generalissimo Donald J. Bonespur Trump!

That is interesting, make. I have a couple of students enlisting and they said the absolute opposite. I had a student whose ultimate goal was West Point until Trump and his minions started taking books off the shelves and firing civilian instructors.

It is really a loss when an incredibly bright student who wants to make a positive difference in the world gets turned off the premier institution for the Army :(

This will be great. Enlistment is up and is the highest in 10 years. Great idea to show that America supports our troops and they are respected by American citizens. By the end of September, recruitment will be up to 61,000.

This isn't about our military liar. Mr. Orange Jesus wants to show the world how f#cking selfish he is. TACO will go down in history as a BLOW HARD CON MAN.

Will the Trump parade be like those of Hitler or Stalin or a combination of both, after all they're both Trump's idols. This is going to be a sickening exhibition of a megalomaniac's monstrous ego. While he obviously believes it will enhance his image it will only impress the MAGATS, in the eyes of everyone else it will make him an even greater laughing stock.

It you actually want to show your support for the military, take the millions needed for a "waste" of a parade and give each one serving a cash bonus.

There's a movie about this from the 1930s, "Triumph of the Will."

This amount of money is just Pennies when you look at the amount that DOGE saved the country after Biden's failures.

Boy oh boy cutting cost left and right!

JUST to repair the damage:The cost to repair Washington, D.C., streets after the upcoming military parade celebrating the Army's 250th anniversary could cost as much ***16 million, according to U.S. military officials.

Raw displays of military power are more common to ones in Russia, China and North Korea, where such parades carry added meanings!!! Are we surprised?????

According to a planning document the parade on June 14 and a series of related events in Washington, D.C., beginning the first week of June, will cost up to $45 million.
