I'm reading "The Passage" by Justin Cronin. I'm not very far into the book but it's pretty good at keeping my interest, even through the would-be boring parts. It's taking a while to figure out exactly what's happening, that's the only complaint I have.

Basicly, the book is about vampirism in a medical sense. They're trying to fully develop a virus to make you look younger and feel healthier and all that. But there are some problems. That's all I really know about it.

I 'preciate it ap, but that book weighs so much I would probably be pulled over by the DMV for exceeding the highway weight limits
Thankfully the library is only 5 blocks from my house so I didn't have to worry too much

I am reading The Search by Nora Roberts. It is her latest and I haven't gotten that far in yet but it is pretty good. It kind of reminds me of Sanctuary if you have read that.

I've started reading War and Peace this week. I read it in college for a class and loved it, but I rushed through it, so now I'm going to try to read it again. Since I only have time to read a few pages before bed, I might still be reading it this time next year.

On another note, shameless self-promotion leads me to mention my book, The Weeds Are Always Greener. It's available at Rhodes Bookstore, Barnhills Books (Winston), and on Amazon.com. The Wilkes County Public Library also has a copy. I'm biased, but if you like small-town southern fiction, I think you'll love my book.

I'm starting in on the "Mitford" series again. Always calms me down and gives me peace of mind and spirit.

Just finished "The Passage" by Justin Cronin. Pretty good read...not the best ending. I hate it when a book has a bad ending.
