Daddy P - They are all new stories - Some of them may have been published previously in books co-written with other authors, but not in any of the Sookie books. It might help to tide you over until May, when the next book in the series is to be published

RJs are the short stories in that Charlaine Harris book new stories or are they exerpts from all the previous Sookie books? I thought about ordering it, but I didn't want to if they were stories I had already read. Thanks.

I just started Deja Dead by Kathy Reichs. So far it's interesting. I have always liked Bones on tv so thought I'd give these books a try.

Been really slack in posting on here. Just finished "A Touch of Dead" by Charlaine Harris ( GREAT book of short stories involving Sookie Stackhouse) I am currently reading "City of Ashes" book 2 in the series The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. Good series so far.

To CCCombs : I just finished reading the Robert Jordan series of that book. I'm just waiting now for the next one to come out. It is by far the best series I have ever read. I read every day but it still took me months to finish all his books. If you can't find one of the books, send me a message and I will be happy to let you borrow it. Amazon.com sells them in a set of 3 if you are interested. Happy reading!! Today I finished The Road by Cormac McCarthy. Very good book. My next one is Safe in Heaven Dead by Samuel Ligon.

It looked really good and I love love love Kate Winslet, but I didn't see it because I knew I wanted to read the book...just didn't think it would take me this long to get around to it :)

thazzrite...it was very different from stuff I normally read. Since I liked it, I may have to go find some other "true fiction" type stuff.
Reading Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates this week. Didn't realize this book was written so long ago...I thought it was recent since the movie jsut came out recently.

Makes me want to visit Savannah. I've been to Charleston quite a few times...wonderful Civil War city. But never Savannah. I'm reading "U is for Undertow", from Sue Grafton. I've read the entire series in order, so this fits like a comfortable pair of old slippers.
