With all the different manufacturers of android devices, the variety of screen sizes and processors combined with each manufacturer tweaks the operating system for their own use making their own versions, it's very hard for developers to create android apps.

Thanks Fins. I didn't know that. As you can tell I am not very tech savvy.

If an app is available for an android device then it's available for iPad. It's much easier to create apps for iOS due to the lack of variables.

Do any of the tablets come with free 3g? The Kindle 3g (not the Kindle Fire) comes with free 3g and you connect to the internet anywhere there is 3g available. It's in black and white and slow as molasses but it's neat to be able to do that. How do they get away with doing that? Will any of the color tablets ever do that without paying a monthly fee?

So, if you wanted to access the internet with an iPad other than your home you'd have to buy one of thos hot spot things from the marks?

I'm not sure these apps are available for ipad...don't know a lot about ipads, but I am sure they most likely are available. On my Kindle I like Hulu, Netflix, TV.com (free and has CBS shows and some other channels) Words with Friends, Scramble with Friends, Draw Something. If you like to cook All Recipies is a good one. If you have HBO I believe there is an app for that.
Is there a Sirius app for Kindle Fire?

Write down a few of your interests. I.e. golf, cooking, dogs, etc. Next, go to the app store and one by each, type those hobbies into the search...you will find apps that you may like....some are free
