Trump does a do-over in Air Force One, all in GOLD. He lives like a King, but the kids can do with 2 dolls.

Anyone who thinks NPR and PBS are not biased is freakin stupid.

The BBC is fully funded by the Brutish government and have a history of knocking heads with the government for broadcasting the facts, regardless of what party happens to be in power. But maybe this kind of transparency can only be tolerated in SOCIALIST countries. NPR and PBS are the closest media outlets we have to the BBC, and is one of their frequent sources due to the lack of veracity of many US sources which tend to be heavily slanted toward party politics.

No, he would cut sources that try to put forth a balanced viewpoint (NPR and PBS) in favor of maintaining his propaganda outlets (fox, etc).

If Trump was contemplating controlling the media wouldn't he send them more money. Liberals are clowns 🤡

Anti

Do you think that NPR and PBS have the potential to be more or less bias if they receive federal funding?

I suggest Anti makes up the difference since she thinks it's such a small amount.

Then lack of federal funding shouldn't hurt them at all

Presently, NPR receives funding for less than 1% of its budget directly from the federal government

As for PBS...

1-5 percent - of the budget for public broadcasting comes from the federal government.

I'm sure that Trump was hoping to land a blow against the media sources that remain unbiased and refuse to bend the knee, but really, 1-5% is forgettable.

Wait a minute! National Propaganda Radicals brag incessantly about how they are LISTENER FUNDED!!!! And DON'T TAKE TAX DOLLARS!!! How surprising!

Since when did PBS and NPR get labeled as media instead of propaganda?

Abraham Drinkin

Since when is reducing influence on media content by the Federal government a bad thing. The government should not own the media. Funding should have been stopped years ago.

Stalin must be enjoying this: "Purge the military, stifle the media, control the intelligentsia and send political opponents to offshore gulags. I'm real proud of you Donnie, wish I could be at your birthday parade."

Take all that money and put it into trade schools. We need more people that can actually do something.
